I was given the opportunity to listen to the new Holmes album Have I Told You Lately That I Loathe You and as far as I can tell by now it matches all expectations and is as brilliant as their debut. The Wolves-follow-up will be released in May 2010 via Black Star Foundation. Watch out for more!

Im März wird ein neues Julie Doiron-Album erscheinen. “I Can Wonder What You Did With Your Day” ist der Nachfolger von “Woke Myself Up” und über Stereogum gibt es bereits den Song ‘Consolation Prize’ zum hören und behalten. Auf dem Album spielt neben Rick White von Eric’s Trip auch Fred Squire mit, der zuvor mit Frau Doiron auch auf dem letzten Mount Eerie-Album “Lost Wisdom” zu hören war.
