Pg.lost from Sweden have just released their second album In Never Out, the follow-up from their debut record It’s Not Me, It’s You. They say: “In Never Out” consists of over 50 minutes of instrumental music and shows a darker and heavier side of pg.lost. I say: Probably the best contemporary postrock-shoegaze band in scandinavia.

Former Ghost is the synthpop inspired band formed and led by Freddy Rupert (this song is a mess but so am i) and consisting of Jamie Stewart (Xiu Xiu) and Nika Roza (Zola Jesus). Fleurs is their debut album and it comes out October 20th on Upset the Rhythm.
Im März wird ein neues Julie Doiron-Album erscheinen. “I Can Wonder What You Did With Your Day” ist der Nachfolger von “Woke Myself Up” und über Stereogum gibt es bereits den Song ‘Consolation Prize’ zum hören und behalten. Auf dem Album spielt neben Rick White von Eric’s Trip auch Fred Squire mit, der zuvor mit Frau Doiron auch auf dem letzten Mount Eerie-Album “Lost Wisdom” zu hören war.
